Pfizer said Tuesday it has launched a “V-Rep” system, which provides customized online image detailing for doctors interested in helping patients quit smoking.

Started by Pfizer Innovative Health, V-Rep is made of professional staff members who deliver personalized information tailored to physicians in a practical, audiovisual way, the company said. In addition to product-specific information, V-Rep provides a broad range of useful information that can be used to treat patients.

“Pharmaceutical marketing and sales methods are gradually changing to the changing business environment. V-Rep will be able to quickly deliver integrated data on changing healthcare policy and up-to-date data on medicines and diseases, providing new value to healthcare providers who treat smoking cessation or pain,” said an official from Pfizer Korea Innovative Health’s marketing division.

V-Rep will provide medical professionals with up-to-date information on the Korean prescription system, government policy on smoking cessation, knowhow of quitting, and drug information, Pfizer said. Doctors can obtain Champix for smoking cessation treatment and Lyrica for pain treatment through V-Rep, according to the company.

Medical workers who want information on smoking cessation and pain treatment can access it through the V-Rep website (http://intro.pfizervrep.com). Doctors can obtain an introduction to V-Rep and schedule bookings for 1:1 customized detailing, the company said.
