CJ Healthcare, a subsidiary of Kolmar Korea, said that it has changed the company name to HK inno.N on the occasion of its 36th anniversary.

Kolmar Korea took over CJ Healthcare in 2018. Still, the latter has used its name to minimize customer confusion, CJ Healthcare said in a press release. As CJ HealthCare has secured future growth engines by strengthening its health and beauty business, investing in new plants, and advancing into health functional foods overseas, the company changed its name to HK inno.N to become a global bio-health company, it added.

The company said it had set a vision to advance toward the world as a leader in the global bio-health business through research on new drugs and new technologies, open innovation, and customer-oriented product development, it noted

"For the past 30 years, we have been on a journey toward accumulating innovation, which can make today better than yesterday," HK inno.N CEO Kang Seok-hee said.

Beginning with Korea's first neoplastic anemia treatment development, the company has continuously challenged itself by launching new products, such as Korea's 30th new drug K-CAB (Ingredient: tegoprazan), a gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD) treatment, entering Vietnam's health functional food market, as well as building new plants for solution infusions, he added.

With the change of the company name, HK inno.N now aims to become a company that leads the global bio-health industry, Kang added.
