Siemens Healthcare Korea has appointed Lee Myung-gyun이명균 as its new president, the company said Monday.

Lee joined Siemens in 2002 as the president of Siemens Communications in Korea after working at LG Information & Communications, HP Korea, and Cisco Systems Korea.

He became the president of Nokia Siemens Networks Korea in 2007 and had also been leading Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Division since 2010.

Lee currently heads Siemens Healthineers Korea, a medical device manufacturer, and will oversee its production, R&D, and sales in Korea.

"We will build a long-term partnership with our customers, especially when we are constantly developing and introducing solutions for automation, digitization, and artificial intelligence.”

Lee went on to say. “Now that I have taken on the new organization, I will step up efforts to cultivate talented workforce to lead the future healthcare market,”
